John Bolton’s new book claims Trump requested China to help win re-election.

KILDARE (JamesFaheyIre) – Former U.S national security adviser John Bolton claims that U.S President Donald Trump requested Chinese interference in the 2020 presidential election to ensure a victory for the Republican Party.

In his new book Bolton asserts that Trump hinted to President Xi regarding his countries economic power and asked for illegal support. According to reports The president “stressed the importance of farmers and increased Chinese purchases of soybeans and wheat in the electoral outcome.”

According to the the Commissioner of the federal election commission Ellen Weintraub “it is absolutely illegal for anyone to solicit, accept, or receive anything of value from a foreign national in connection with any election in the United States.”

Bolton, who is a well know Conservative strategist for his role in the Iraq and Afghan wars at the beginning of the century was called “Dumb” by the President on Twitter earlier this week. Trump went further stating:

“Bolton’s book, which is getting terrible reviews, is a compilation of lies and made up stories, all intended to make me look bad… Many of the ridiculous statements he attributes to me were never made, pure fiction. Just trying to get even for firing him like the sick puppy he is!”

While the Mueller report found no collusion of Russian interference in the 2016 Presidential election it is possible that another report is needed into the 2020 election regarding Chinese interference.

Trump has a history of being accused of corruption as well as being ill equipped to lead the country including being impeached in December 2019 on charges of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.
